The mission of the Veterans Commerce Foundation is to help veterans connect with the resources to achieve commercial success in businesses. Veterans are among the most qualified executives and managers because of the leadership, discipline and ability to focus on mission tasks they learned during military service.
Success in business is often based on an accumulation of knowledge and experience. Many veterans have useful skills that can transition from the military to civilian life. We help advise and support veterans who need to find and complete career-building education and training for civilian commerce.
Whether a veteran is thinking about starting a business or has already started one, our mission is to help those entrepreneurs reach their personal goals.
Sometimes solutions to problems are easy once you know what to ask, where to ask and whom to ask. Our Foundation resources exist to aid in those decision processes.
We can help qualified veterans secure grants, loans and equity investments in start-ups and assist growing veteran-owned businesses with their financial needs. We have stablished relationships with groups such as SCORE, an SBA mentoring program. Our advisors include executives from banks and financial institutions.
Our Foundation has a core group of experienced executive advisors, many of whom are veterans. All our team members have made a commitment to help veterans with business planning, starting companies and solving the myriad problems with start-ups.
